Commemoration of Professional Advancements
Dr. Meriga was awarded the following certificate in recognition of sharing valuable knowledge and expertise on “The Role of the Cardiac Care Unit in the Prevention and Treatment of Cardiovascular Disease” during the International Conference on Basic Life Support, held on September 27, 2025, and organized by Madanbhau Patil College of Nursing, Kavalapur, Sangli, Maharashtra, India.
Dr. Meriga was given the opportunity to showcase and present her DNP Quality Improvement Project at the CELC NAINA Conference in September 2025.

INACF is inviting nominations for nursing awards in below categories will be presented at INACF Gala (Nov 14)
The INCAF Recognition Awards Program celebrates exceptional accomplishments in bedside nursing, leadership, and academia, honoring contributions that reflect and advance the mission, vision, and values of INCAF. All award recipients will be recognized at the annual gala celebration in May 2026. Submission deadline March 31st, 2026.
Best Clinical Nurse
This award recognizes the nurse who demonstrates excellence in clinical practice, compassionate patient care, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Below are the criteria for nomination:
Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and safe nursing practice.
Provides compassionate, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care.
Applies evidence-based practices to clinical decision-making.
Contributes to patient safety, quality improvement, and positive patient outcomes.
Demonstrates professionalism, ethical conduct, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Serves as a positive role model for colleagues and contributes to a culture of excellence in nursing.
Best Nurse Educator
This award recognizes the nurse educator who demonstrates excellence in teaching, mentorship, and the development of current and future nurses.
Below are the criteria for nomination:
Demonstrates excellence in nursing education, instruction, and clinical teaching.
Uses effective, innovative, and evidence-based teaching strategies.
Mentors nursing students, new graduates, or practicing nurses.
Encourages critical thinking, professional development, and lifelong learning.
Contributes to curriculum development, educational initiatives, or improvements in teaching practice.
Demonstrates a commitment to preparing competent, compassionate, and ethical nursing professionals.
Best APRN
This award recognizes the best Advanced Practice Nurse who demonstrates excellence in advanced clinical practice, leadership, and contributions to patient care and healthcare outcomes.

Provides safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
